FAVORITE PRODUCTS OF 2015 | BEAUTY

So another year has come to its end, and I thought I would begin this new year by looking back and highlighting some of my favorite products of 2015. There are a quite lot of products to go through so I will actually divide it into separate posts. First out are my favorite beauty products of 2015.

So I've really been trying to improve my skin and looking for products that will help me achieve that goal. We all know that a flawless base is the perfect canvas for our makeup. A not so flawless base will distract from anything you do to rest of your face. So I just have to start out with my favorite skin care product of them all - my trusted and beloved Clarisonic Mia2.
Clarisonic | Mia2
This has to be, by far, my favorite product of 2015. My skin has never looked or felt as good as since I've started to use this little miracle exfoliating brush. I have oily skin and a problem with big pores. So I have to exfolite a lot for my skin too look smooth and I've always felt like my nose and forehead were a problem area , especially when I had foundation on because my skin looked bumpy and disgusting because of my big pores. That's not a problem for me anymore. I have with the help of this miracle brush taken a step closer towards having that flawless base I've always wanted. I don't even have to exfoliate my skin as often as I had to before, perfect!

Clarins | Face Tratment Oil Lotus
This face oil was actually something I discovered at the end 2014 but have really been loving this year. I especially love it during summer because it may feel a little too drying during the colder and drier months of the year. This oil is actually going to help you combat excessive oiliness and during the summer it's the only "moisturizer" I use before I go to sleep. It doesn't really work for me during the colder months because I have to use a moisturizer after I've applied it so that my skin doesn't dry out completely, which defeats it purpose a bit because I haven't found a moisturizer that works with it.

Nivea | Shine Control Toner for combination skin
A really amazing and cheap toner for combination skin. This will leave your skin feeling both clean and hydrated. There were days during the summer that I only used this toner and skipped moisturizer because my skin was so oily and I didn't need the added moisture. It's my favorite drugstore toner. I've tried a lot of toners and this one is by far the best one for it's price. It will last for months and make your skin glow and remove impurities preventing acne. Well, at least for me.
GlamGlow | Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
I reviewed this mask not so very long ago and not a lot has changed. Still loving it. Especially during the winter/fall months. And since I live in Sweden a majority of the months here are cold and dry. The summer only really last for three months (if you're lucky). Last years summer was awful, we had like 4 weeks of summer. Other than those four weeks the temperature has been pretty much the same cold temperature during this entire year (except for january, february and march which are cold as hell) and the winter weather was actually quite warm (for being Sweden), we've had the same temperature during december as we had in june of last year which is really depressing (10 C/50 F), so this mask has been a must for me during these last couple of months.

GlamGlow | SuperMud Clearing Treatment:
I've almost completely run out of this mask which says a lot. I absolutely love the results I get after using this mask and it works really well as a spot treatment for when you have a really pesky pimple you want to get rid of quick. Not only have I almost completely run out of it, the rest that is left has dried out, so I use a damp foundation brush to pick up last bits of the mask. If you would only get one of the GlamGlow masks, this is the one I would recomment you get. I actually don't even like the black one much, so skip that one and get this one instead.

GlamGlow | Powercleanse Daily Dual Cleanser
Now, I've only had this cleanser for about a week, but before that I had a sample that lasted me for a week, so in total I've been using this cleanser for about two weeks. Is it worthy to be in my 2015 beauty favorites after such a short amount of time? YES. Because this is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. It removes all my makeup with just a little amount of the product (except for waterproof mascara, you have to rub a lot). But it really removes all my layers of foundation without a problem. And I love me some medium to high coverage foundations and concealers that can be a real pain in the a** to get off at the end of the day. With this cleanser? I don't have to spend 30 mins in the bathroom using 10 different products to get the makeup completely off.
Giorgio Armani | Sí
I bought this perfume not so very long ago, I think it was in the beginning of october, but I've been pretty much using it all the time since then. Unfortunately I can't wear perfumes for work as I have collegues that are allergic. Otherwise I would wear this eveyday. Now I just wear it during the weekends and basically whenever I can. I have a tiny sample of this perfume in my bag so I can always spray a little on me if I have to go somewhere after work. This perfume smells chic and sensual at the same time, and let's be honest... who doesn't want to smell like that?

Lancôme | La Vie Est Belle
This perfume has been a favorite of mine since I first smelled it. I got a sample of it when I was visiting Sephora at Champs-Élysées in Paris, I think that was in the spring of 2014, and I've been hooked ever since. I even got my friends and my mother hooked on this. I don't think I have ever used a perfume as much as I have with this, I have already used up half the bottle. It will be a sad day the day I run out of it. Fortunately I can always buy a new one, because this needs to be a staple in every womans perfume collection. This smells like luxury and summer in a bottle to me. Get it, you won't be disappointed. I don't know how many times I've been complemented when I've worn it. You will love it, and so will the people around you!
St. Tropez | Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
I don't think I have ever used as much self tanning products as I have this year. The summer here in Sweden was awful, we barely had any and I worked every day during the few weeks of summer that we actually had. And the weather was a total b****,  if I can say so myself, because it was sunny during the weekdays but cloudy and rainy during the weekends. You feel my pain? So I used a lot of self tanning lotions and creams but the best one of them all was the St. Tropez self tanning mousse. I used it with a tanning glove and I must say that I will never again in my life apply a self tanner without the glove. Because using the glove you don't have to worry about getting streaky hands and it actually helps you apply the self tanner evenly on yout back which otherwise can be a total pain in the a**. This self tanner doesn't smell as much as the other ones I've tried and it doesn't give you that unnatural orange shade. I will probably never use an other self tanner. The only downside is that It's pretty exspensive, but it's definitely worth it.

Nuxe | Huile Prodigieuse Or
This body oil is life. It will give you that Beyonce glow to your tan. I can't live without this bad boy during summer. You can even put it in your hair and use it as a hair oil to give your hair  that extra shine. I personally don't like to put it in my hair because I'm not that fond of the fragrance of this oil. So I just use it on my body and then douse myself in perfume. After that I'm ready to light up the streets with my sexy Beyonce glow.

Lernberger & Stafsing | Dryclean Brown
A good dry schampoo is a girls best friend, because let's be honest. Who has the time or the inclination to wash their hair eveyday? I know I don't. And also, you shouldn't because it will ruin your hair. So the solution to this problem is dry schampoo. I've tried the cheaper ones everyone raves about, you know, the Lee Stafford one and the Batiste dry schampoos. They smell great and all, but they don't do nothing to remove the oiliness from my hair. This one from Lernberger & Stafsing, does and it also makes my hair smell amazing and gives me that volume I'm always craving. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but It's the only one so far that actually works for me. This is a swedish brand and I think they can only be found here in Sweden, unfortunately.
Lush Handmade Cosmetics | "I Love Juicy" Shampoo
Next to the Clarisonic, this schampoo was a total miracle for me. I have very oily hair and I always had to schampoo my hair like three times every shower to get it clean. Otherwise I would dry my hair and it would still be oily. I hated when that happened because then I had to wash my hair again. It was so time consuming. However, those days are gone thanks to this bad boy. This schampoo will really clean your hair without leaving it dry and coarse in the shower and it smells totally okay (not that fond of the Lush fragrances). However if you dye your hair, this schampoo will comletely wash that color off. I used the blackest Schwarzkopf hair dye and left it in my hair longer than you should, my hair was so so so black, but after about two weeks my bown hair was showing again and when I've used that same dye in the past, my hair color has been blacker than black for months and I've even had to dye my roots, but not anymore. And it doesn't even bother me, you know why? Because I regretted coloring my hair the second I'd done it (this is why I will never have tattoos). However if you have oli hair like me, or use a lot of products that leave residue, you will love this schampoo. And for me, my hair stays fresh a day longer that it used to. Yay!

Lush Handmade Cosmetics | "American Cream" Conditioner
I rewieved this a few weeks ago and I still love it. It leaves my hair soft and smooth and I've actually stopped using my morrocan hair oil because I don't need it any more. Can you imagine? Plus my hair feels a lot healthier and shinier now that I only use Lush products in it. I will not be switching hair products anytime soon.
